On Wednesday, the children in Year 2 visited Souter Lighthouse as part of the ‘Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch’ topic. While we were there, we climbed the 76 steps to the top of the lighthouse and looked at the 1008 lens. The children were fascinated with the life of the Lighthouse Keeper and how difficult it must have been. As part of our geography focus, we also identified many geographical features of the area, such as cliffs, vegetation and rocks.
