The classroom was filled with colour and excited chatter when the children came into school on World Book Day! A very large teddy and friendly witch (aka Miss McCrimmon and Mrs Jones) welcomed the children and admired the wonderfully varied costumes, which included several homemade outfits! Noah was determined to keep his snail shell on (very cleverly made out of a rubber swimming ring) but found that sitting on a chair was more comfortable without it! We enjoyed showing off our costumes to the rest of the school while we paraded around the hall and Mr Baulf caused a sensation when he turned up to read a story to the children, dressed up as Alice in Wonderland! Thank you very much to all the parents who kindly donated books to our school library.
